Artistic Value
This movie was amazing! It really showed the value and consequences of hiding something from your significant other for years. When they talked about their feelings they did a great job on allowing the audience to know how serious this moment was despite the fact that death and disaster was everywhere. It used the camera angles much to its advantage. When Madi was mad at Spencer and mentioned how she didnt want him in the baby's life and drove away. We get to see Spencer in the rearview mirror looking sad and was immediately regretting his actions. This gives us and understanding that even though this movie is a comedy it can be very serious at points. I give it a 8/10 when it comes to artistic value.
Entertainment Value
The movie is a comedy so it was very funny inappropriate times which is amazing. They took a very serious movie and left that aspect in it but also allowed there to be comfy in the movie. This went perfectly with the characters and the story line. This helps with keeping a secret from a family member because when you look back to when you told them this huge secrete it seems funny to have even kept it a secret. I give this movie a 10/10 in entertainment because it was very funny.
Education Value
This movie teaches us about keeping secrets and how bad it can ruin our relationships with others. Spencer kept a secret from his wife which lead to a whole mess about people trying to kill him. He only wanted to keep her safe but if he would of told his secrete it could of saved him a whole lot of trouble. When we have secrets we don't want to tell other due to fear and/or for there protection. It would be easier if we just are straight forward with the person. I give this movie a 7/10 in education.
Literacy Value
This movie shows the bad sides of keeping a secret in a very creative way. It allows us to see the funny side of a scary situation our characters are in . the characters don't find it very funny and are very terrified but through the literacy way we get to be able to laugh and enjoy the movie which just adds to all the other values i have just mentioned. They allowed all values to come together and create a very funny movie. I give this movie a 6/10 in literacy
Conclusions
This movie was very funny, romantic, and a great learning experience all at the same time. This movie is a 10/10 and i believe it should get more recognition than it does. This movie could help save and rebuild relationships
